Artist and illustrator JESSE HAWLEY'S current projects include prints for the children’s book Animals v. Furniture with text by Normandy Sherwood, to be published this fall (Ugly Duckling Presse) and a seven painting installation on tour internationally with Songs of the Dragons Flying to Heaven, a play by Young Jean Lee. She is also a founding member of The National Theater of the United States of America which won an OBIE Award for design in 2006. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband James and son Leon.
