NICHOLAS BARNES's short fiction and poetry have been featured in Wolf Head Quarterly, Akkadian, Writing From The Edge, Francis Ford Coppola's Zoetrope All-Story Extra, Naked Poetry, Literary Lion, and Pontalba Press's1998 southern fiction anthology, Pontalba Press Presents: Short Stories, Vol. 1, among others. He is the author of one novel, Thresholds, one fictitious memoir, The Lost Writings Of Steve Garvey, and a book of humorous short stories, Gas (and other liquids). Musically, he has produced two CDs -- The Fog Of Increase and Demonstrations For The Barber -- and has written music for Prophecy Entertainment's feature film The Barber, starring Malcolm McDowell, (released in late 2001).
