Three Poems

bone requires bone #46

the lemon the muscle the anti-birth that happens with each construction of a gun the smudges left on the landscape when an abuser ends up holding the gun of the abused the ash the ash the ash working through our nation’s hideous volcano will give us a second blanket we do not need hell the first blanket the attention of it was too much to begin with

bone requires bone #47

the shiver grants the premise that grief is the only emotion that can’t be beaten out of you that shiver always leaves that shiver doesn’t know shit anger hangs on long enough to bury you swinging against the violent tide that almost always looks like a man

bone requires bone #48
