Undergrads and graduate students are welcome to apply for one- or two-semester editorial internships. To apply, send your CV, brief cover letter, your area of interest (poetry, translations, etc.), and a pitch for a future issue of The Adirondack Review to email@example.com. We can issue school credit so long as you provide the right paperwork.
All internships are virtual posts, meaning you will not commute to an office. Applicants should have a strong sense of digital publishing and social media, and be able to work effectively with minimal supervision. Interns will review submissions, participate in the editing process, and pitch ideas for features or solicited work. Interns also often write book reviews.
Applicants interested in learning basic web hosting and content management skills are encouraged to apply. Building an online magazine is a combination of creative vision and attention to detail; developing these skills early in your career is a definite asset.
Email Angela if you have any questions about our internships.
