CHRIS KOCEK graduated from U.C.L.A. in 1999 with a degree in Mass Communications
and has since been putting his education to work, traveling throughout the United States, Europe, and Mexico, trying to communicate throughout the world in any way he can think of -- through photographs, music, stories, and sometimes just a series of confused looks and universal hand
gestures. His jobs have ranged from being a Volunteer Ranger at Canyonlands National Park in Utah to being a freelance writer to teaching English as a Second Language at College of the Desert. His written work has been published in Big World Magazine, Lines in the Sand Magazine, Black Bear Review, and others. His photography has been exhibited at "The Living Desert" in Palm Desert, CA and is currently part of a texture exhibition at "Exposure Gallery" in Palm Springs, CA. He currently lives in Cathedral City and is teaching ESL at College of the Desert.
