KENNETH POBO was born in 1954 and grew up in Villa Park, Illinois. His poetry appears in numerous journals and anthologies; Indiana Review, Cream City Review, MarylandPoetry Review, Colorado Review, and Mudfish among them. Author of ten chapbooks, his first full-length collection, A Season in My Garden, was recently released by Higganum Hill Books. His chapbook, "Cicadas in the Apple Tree," was named a winner of that year's Palanquin Press chapbook competition. Pobo teaches English at Widener University in Pennsylvania. He shares his life with his partner Stan and two cats, Preston and Margot. This is his second appearance in The Adirondack Review.
